Learn to dance with some of the world's best dancers, including your favourite "Strictly Come Dancing" stars!

INTERMEDIATE WORKSHOPS:
Intermediate workshops will be held from 12pm-2pm. The lesson will be from 12pm-1:30pm, followed by a 1/2 hour practice session, supervised by the workshop teacher. To participate in the Intermediate workshops, you should have been dancing at least 6-12 months, and have a good working knowledge of the basic steps and variations of all of the dances in the style being covered (Bronze/Silver level).

ADVANCED WORKSHOPS:
Advanced workshops will be held from 2:30pm-4:30pm. The lesson will be from 2:30pm-4pm, followed by a 1/2 hour practice session, supervised by the workshop teacher. To participate in the Advanced workshops, you should have been dancing at least 2-3 years, and have good proficiency with the Intermediate/Advanced figures in all of the dances in the style being covered (Gold level and above).

PRICE:
The price for each workshop is £22 for non-members and £20 for members.

REGISTRATION:
The workshop will take a maximum of 20 leaders and 20 followers. Registration priority will be given when two registrants book at the same time - as a leader and a follower. Individuals will be taken as a "provisional registration", and when we know we can admit them to the course they will be contacted. Anyone who sends in registration payment and is not given a place in the workshop will have their cheque promptly returned. Credit card payments will not be put through until places in the workshop are confirmed. Places can only be guaranteed when booked in advance and confirmation is received. We cannot guarantee a place in the workshops when registering "on the door".

Chris & JaciThree-times World Professional Salsa Champions, Chris Marques & Jaclyn Spencer are the first and only non-Latin Americans ever to have won this prestigious title. They are also the first ever non-Cubans to perform at Havana’s world famous Cabaret Tropicana since Castro came to power. Prior to dancing Salsa, Chris & Jaci were world-class Latin-American competitors. They were part of the original cast of the spectacular "Burn The Floor". Chris & Jaci choreograph Salsa routines and professional/celebrity group dances for BBC’s "Strictly Come Dancing", and their group "Cuban Grooves" has performed on the show. Darren BennettLilia KopylovaDarren was born into a ballroom family, and began dancing when he was six years old. Lilia was born in Moscow, and begand dancing aged nine. Darren & Lilia married in 1999. Their competitive titles include the UK Closed Professional Latin Champions and South American Showdance Champions. Darren won "Strictly Come Dancing" series 2 with actress Jill Halfpenny, and placed 3rd in series 4 with former Spice Girl Emma Bunton. His other "Strictly" partners have been TV and radio presenter Gloria Hunniford (series 3) and actress Letitia Dean (series 5). Lilia won "Strictly Come Dancing" series 3 with cricketer Darren Gough, and she placed in 2nd on series 4 partnering England rugby star and TV presenter Matt Dawson. Lilia has also partnered classical singer Aled Jones (series 2 semi-finals) and TV presenter Dominic Littlewood (series 5). Learn more about Darren & Lilia on their website.

Ian WaiteIan Waite is known for his successful appearance on "Strictly Come Dancing", partnering Olympic gold medal heptathlete Denise Lewis to 2nd place in the 2nd series. He partnered presenter Zoe Ball to the finals on the 3rd series, and has also partnered soul singer Mica Paris (series 3) and photographer/model Penny Lancaster-Stewart (series 5). Ian's professional competitive partnership with Camilla Dallerup is very successful, including being twice semi-finalists in the 2005 International Championships (Latin), and finalists in the British National Championships (Latin). Nicole CutlerNicole Cutler was born in Durban, South Africa and started to learn ballroom and Latin American dancing when she was 12 years old. Nicole danced with Andrew Magin and Warren Smith in South Africa and then moved to England when she was 18. From 1994 Nicole partnered Matthew Cutler for ten years. "Matthew's teacher didn't want us to dance together because he thought there was too much of a height difference. We ignored him and the rest as they say is history!" Their competitive career together includes: World, Open, British, International and UK Open Professional Latin Finalist 2000-2003, UK Closed Professional Latin Champion 2000-2002, World Master Professional Latin Champion 2000, All England Professional Champion 2004, and Singapore Millennium Champion 2004. Although Nicole and Matthew ended their competitive partnership a few years ago, they are dancing together again, performing Latin American demonstratons. On "Strictly Come Dancing" Nicole has partnered football legend John Barnes (series 5) and TV presenter Nicholas Owen (series 4). Nicole also teaches at Semley Dance Studio in south London.
